my oh my! this summer has been flying by, it seems. as soon as we got back from our honeymoon, we spent just about every waking second making crafts for our backyard reception (which i plan to share about soon :). what happened to summer being long and luxurious? i’ve only had two shave-ices since may! what a travesty! anyway, life is slowing down again and i plan on enjoying it. we started the fourth of july weekend off right with some 3 month old pictures of Mr. Evan. here’s a quick preview of yesterday’s session..
we started off by putting evan in an intense vintage sailor suit – worn by his father 30 years ago for his own three month photos
apparently, my cloudy blanket was downright exciting..
evan in the cloud, still sporting those vintage shorts
tissue puffs courtesy of my fabulous best friend and partner-in-craft, mrs. jessi wright – made for an ethereal backdrop when combined with the lovely fogged windows in my dining room/studio
check out that standing action! he’s going to be walking by four months, i tell you.
thanks again to sarah for bringing evan all the way to denton! it was such a good time!
and lastly, happy birthday to america, and to me. i’m a quarter-of-a-century old today!
