location guide

not sure where you’d like to do your session?
here are some of our favorite locations in the dfw metroplex with a little info on each

#1 – the secret field: depending on the season, this field goes from wildflowers to tall grass. its location is a secret known only to me and my super-awesome-secret-protecting clients, but can be found near argyle, tx, about 20 minutes from downtown denton. the immediate area is surprisingly commercial and contains two fountain ponds, more dense trees and brush, a vine-covered iron gazebo and a wooden bridge over a small faux-river. it’s a client and photographer favorite!

#2 – adorable downtowns: in the Dallas Fort Worth area, we’re blessed with some pretty amazing downtown areas for photo sessions. from denton with it’s christmas tree lighted square lawn, old doors, crumbling brick walls and brightly painted shops, to grapevine with it’s vintage train depot. you really can’t go wrong in a downtown area – our favorites are Denton, Grapevine and McKinney.

#3 – out of the box! i love love love shooting in unexpected places! some of our more unique shoots happen when i get a client that really wants to let the session be about what makes them tick – whether it’s a bowling alley or playing their favorite board game –  these are my favorite because the location and activity becomes as much a part of the session as the people in it – adding a rich depth to the end result.
