11.11.11 | Armand & Ellen

when armand and i first started shooting weddings together about a year ago, we would talk on our long journeys across dfw about his dreams for his future wedding. he wanted it to be like no other wedding – an ultimate celebration of his love for ellen. several months later, on 3.11.11, armand proposed to ellen at his family’s home. i have gotten to know ellen since then and have been struck by how strong and caring she is. i can see why armand is so thoroughly taken with her! here is a taste of their beautiful day together in denton, texas at the civic center and quakertown park, on 11.11.11. which, in armand’s words “will never happen again, ever.”

i was assisted at this wedding by the wonderfully talented alan tsai

i don’t know how ellen held it together with armand looking at her like that! i’ve never seen anything so heart-breakingly sweet in all of my years of wedding photography.

exquisite cake by my friend and talented artist – keene cake & more, amazing cake stand chain-sawed personally by armand himself!

just married: brazos & jen

oh my braz and jen, where do i begin? i keep trying to type up a neat little summary of your journey together and what you both mean to me and daniel, but its impossible. there isn’t enough time or space on the internet to say it all. (ya’ll saw what a blubbering fool i turned into when i tried to toast you!) i love you both, and hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

my wedding veil and fascinator was jen’s something borrowed!

the bride and bridesmaids are all rocking some gorgeous tiny flower studs from our friend Rachel’s Peach Tree Lane Jewelry! (www.peachtreeln.com)

brazos was dashing in a j.crew linen suit

jen found her dress at nordstrom’s & brazos’s mom mitzie did the gorgeous flower arrangements & bouquets!

jen and brazos decided to do a first look (our first one ever!) it was an amazing moment!

the ceremony and reception were both at the lantana golf club in argyle, tx – and my was there pretty light!

the empty seat next to jen’s mom is in honor of her recently passed grandmother.
